BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR THE
EMPLOYEE GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE OF
MONKS RISBOROUGH CE PRIMARY SCHOOL GOVERNING BODY
CONSTITUTION:
The Membership of the Committee, and the clerk, will be as per the agreed membership grid.
Please note that the Headteacher cannot clerk a Committee.
The Chairman of the Committee will be elected by a quorum of the committee members. A quorum will be at least 3 Governors.
Then LEA recommends that it would be best practice not to appoint a member of staff as Chair of the committee.
TERMS OF REFERENCE:
1. In the event of a committee being required to hear a staff grievance governors as per the attached grid will form that committee and follow the procedures adopted by the Governing Body.
2. To ensure that minutes are taken of the meetings.
This Committee was incorporated by Minute No. 7 of the School's Governing Body Meeting held on 22 September 2003. The composition and terms of reference will be reviewed annually in the Autumn Term.
