BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR THE

GOVERNORS GENERAL PURPOSES COMMITTEE OF

MONKS RISBOROUGH CE PRIMARY SCHOOL GOVERNING BODY



CONSTITUTION:

All Governors shall be members of the Committee.

The Chairman of the Committee will be the Chairman of the Governing Body and the clerk will be as per the committee membership grid.

A quorum will be the same as for a full governing body meeting, as detailed in the School Standing Orders of the governing body.


TERMS OF REFERENCE:

The Committee may undertake all or any of the statutory functions of the governing body except those which cannot be delegated as detailed in the ?Delegation of Functions? section of the School Standing Orders.

The committee will report to the governing body in respect of any action or decision made, but this does not preclude the implementation of any such action or decision before the report is made.

This Committee was incorporated by Minute No.8 of the School's Governing Body Meeting held on 22 September 2003. The terms of reference will be reviewed annually in the Autumn Term.
