TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR THE

STRATEGY COMMITTEE OF

MONKS RISBOROUGH CE PRIMARY SCHOOL GOVERNING BODY



CONSTITUTION:

The chairman, vice chairman, the chairmen of finance, personnel and curriculum committees, and the headteacher shall be members of the Committee. The committee shall be free to co-opt any other person, including governors, parents or teachers, whom they consider may be able to assist them in planning for the future of the school.

The Chairman of the Committee will be the Chairman of the Governing Body and the clerk will be the vice chairman or an alternate.

A quorum will be the chairman or vice chairman and three other persons.


TERMS OF REFERENCE:

The Committee will review from time to time the future of the school as it may be affected by changing circumstances and new opportunities, and make recommendations to the relevant committee(s) for their further consideration in detail.

The object of the committee is to initiate long-term co-ordinated planning for the benefit of both current and future children in the school.


This Committee was incorporated by Minute No . . . of the School's Governing Body Meeting held on . . . The terms of reference will be reviewed annually in the Autumn Term.
