'Friends' of Monks Risborough School
Welcome to the 'Friends' of Monks Risborough School.
We are a hard working committee raising monies for the school by holding fund raising events throughout the year.
Last year our focus was to raise money for the out-door climbing frame in KS2 playground. In previous years we have raised enough money to re-line the outdoor swimming pool,buy 29 pc's for the I.C.T suite,Interactive whiteboards for all classrooms,new books for the class libraries,games boxes for pupils to play with at playtime and lunchtimes and many other much needed items.
We have also ongoing commitments to pay for Broadband.
If you are interested in joining our committee of ' Friends' please email us or ask to speak to one of the 'Friends' comittee members at the school.
We normally meet once a month unless there is a big event coming up , then we have a smaller sub- committee.
Please do not be put off by the word 'committee' we are also parents trying to make the future better for our children.
